On 26 December 2020, the Communique on Raising the Monetary Limits in Article 68 of the Consumer Protection Law (Law No: 6502) and Article 6 of the Consumer Arbitral Tribunals Regulation (Regulation No: 29188) was published in the Official Gazette (“Communique”).
In accordance with the Communique, monetary limits applicable to applications made before Turkish Consumer Courts have been set according to the revaluation rate of 9.11%, effective as of 1 January 2021.
Accordingly:
All complaints above TRY 11,330 must be filed before consumer courts.
