Serra practices in a number of areas of law including corporate & commercial, compliance & business ethics, construction, and contract management.
She advises national and international clients with a focus on corporate law, employment, anti-corruption, privacy & data protection, compliance, competition law and the FMCG sector. She also advises clients on company formation and corporate governance issues.
Serra currently provides advice on complex construction projects, locally and internationally in both the private sector and public procurement. Her work with construction industry clients includes issuing and managing delay and disruption claims, damage claims, time extension requests, insurance, termination, and assisting in the resolution of many other obstacles that construction projects may face.
She drafts design, installation, procurement, and supply contracts as well as revising major standard industry contracts such as FIDIC and JCT and participates in face-to-face meetings during the tender process.
Serra is well versed in arbitration processes under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and UNICITRAL and has executed preventive precautions regarding bank guarantees and other payment guarantees.
Serra began her career as a legal trainee in a top multinational company’s in-house legal department, where she gained valuable insight into corporate law.
